It’s cold in the winter. Will my child still go outside to play?

Yes. As mandated by the Ministry of Education, children should be outside to play for at least two hours a day (weather permitting).

The children benefit tremendously from fresh air and exercise on a regular basis.

Help your child be well-prepared by providing them with weather-appropriate clothing.

In the winter:

  • Boots
  • Snow pants
  • Hats
  • Mittens
  • A warm jacket

In the summer:

  • A wide brimmed hat and running shoes allow for maximum participation
